  Dividing Ballroom/Large Event Spaces

  Hello Everyone,

  We are currently planning for the fourth phase of renovating our Campus Center. As part of this process, I am seeking information from my colleagues in regards to large event spaces such as ballrooms. If you could please share the following information, it would be very helpful:

  – Does your Campus/Student Center have a Ballroom or equivalent large event space? What is the maximum capacity of the space?
  – Is it possible to divide the space? Are these manual or automatic dividers? How is the sound quality? Air/heating quality?
  – Do you rent this space out? And, if you can divide your space, has revenue increased as a result of being able to divide the room?
  – Anything else you would like to share?
