  promo item RFP?

  Colleagues,

  Apologies in advance for cross-posting with sister associations. Our finance team has asked if we’d consider bidding out the entire promotional item purchase for the year for the division.? Between housing, student center, orientation, and other areas we spend more than $100K a year.? Has anyone ever had experience doing that, would be willing to share materials, etc.? I see several challenges with it and would love to also hear about anyone’s experience running a process like that. Right now departments must purchase from approved vendors but the vendor list is a long one.
