  2025 Conference & Events Seminar (CES) Call for Content

  We are happy to share the?Conference & Events Seminar (CES) will be returning in 2025:

  • Dates: Jan 27-30, 2025

  • Program: UT Austin & Local Tours

  • Lodging: AT&T Hotel and Conference Center (on-campus)

  The Conference and Events Seminar is for higher education professionals that are engaged with conference/events sales, bookings, and execution as well as professionals who have oversight of staff members with these responsibilities.?

  Registration will be live in October, and we are currently accepting educational session submissions,?due 10/15 (with selection/notification by 11/4). Please consider both attending or presenting, below is a partial list of potential topical areas:

  De/Centralized Scheduling
  Political Events
  Working with Student Organizations
  External Clients
  Revenue Generation
  1-Stop Shop
  Set-Ups: furniture, AV, rentals
  Roundtables: reservation priorities, software, polices & procedures
  Conference/Events Sales, Bookings and Execution
  Oversight of Staff Members with Conference & Event Responsibilities
  Auxiliary-based union operations budget
  Daily management
  Space and Equipment Functionality
  Exceptional Customer Service
  Conference and Event Services
